{Sassy Boutique} Grand Opening

I hosted the {Sassy Boutique} Grand Opening on Saturday night. It was a blast, but boy, my dogs were barking. I was on my feet for about 3 days getting everything ready. I’m so happy that Terri Martini, owner of Front Street Gourmet in Scituate, her friend Natalie, and Tara Hollander, owner of Doorknock Dinner in Norwell, stepped up to help me out with food and bevvies.

Over the last two days, Ive gotten a bunch of positive feedback, and and am so happy about all the buzz. Here are some pics from the big night:

{Sassy Boutique} Welcomes Green Mountain Apothecary

We at the boutique are so excited about our latest vendor, Samantha, a Master Herbalist studying to become a Holistic Health Practitioner. Her love for aromatherapy began when she started her family and wanted to find alternative methods of natural medicine for her children. It developed into a love and passion for creating remedies that help in everyday life.

Whether creating herbal remedy pillows, organic herbal teas, or healing balms, she know she is doing her part in helping make someone’s life greater by sharing my products. She is one of our most remote New England vendors, living in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont in a simple little town.

Stop into the shop to see some of Samantha’s bubble baths, body mists, herbal pillows, teas, … the list goes on!

{Sassy Boutique} at Abbey Knoll

Last October I started this new adventure, taking my photography to the next level I rented a shop near my house in a 200 year old barn. It was exciting and new and I spent much of the fall into December painting, prepping and shooting there.

As the year ended and I truly realized how much space I really have, I decide to use the space in another way entirely.

I’m opening a boutique for local crafters and artists!

I put out a call for local jewelry makers, knitters, soap makers, authors, and theyre coming in droves! I have met so many talented people! This exciting new endeavor has taken on a life of its own and the shop is really starting to look like … a shop!

I had such a great time yesterday at the studio with these great kids. The new baby girls are absolutely beautiful!! And their well behaved big brothers are in love with them!

Ive been having a blast with some new babies at the studio! THey are so sweet and sleepy. I love them all, but don’t miss all those sleepless nights and diapers. I’m ok with letting them go home after we’re done with our session
